Basic Electricity
Electronics, the ability to control small electric currents, has revolutionized technology and forever altered the way we work, live, and play. In the Electricity module, students learn the theory, principles, and uses of electricity and electronics.
Students begin by becoming acquainted with electrical components and their symbols. Soon they are interpreting schematic designs and creating a variety of circuits with resistors, transistors, photocells, capacitors, and inductors. The students use a digital multi meter to measure voltage, current, and resistance. After completing several experiments, students go on to create their very own PA system using just the trainer and their own knowledge! By the end of this module, students are able to analyze an electronic circuit, determine any problems, and choose, as well as carry out the best solution.
